Colombia Shady Bader CM Gesha


Produced by Shady Bader at Finca El Vergel or Black Mountain, an inactive volcano that has created some of the most nutrient-rich soil for planting.

A few years ago, Shady and his brother, Elias took over the farm and decided to convert parts of their farm to grow coffee. 5 years ago they planted their first Gesha and Java trees and only 2 years ago they decided to expand their coffee plantation.

This lot was exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation of 48 hours inside plastic tanks with CO2. The coffee was then placed inside mechanical dryer for 12 hours and later moved to raised beds till ideal moisture content was achieved.
